Michael Simpson is the Managing Partner for e-Business Advisory & Consulting Services, LLC (eBACS) and President of Simpson Executive Coaching. He has 25 years of business experience in management consulting, leadership development, executive coaching, organizational behavior, advisory services, and keynote speaking.

Michael is President of Simpson Executive Coaching. He is focused in the areas of one-on-one executive coaching with C-level executives, senior leaders, and management teams. He also teaches and certifies organizations in The Leader and Manager as Coach.

For over 3 years, Michael has been on leadership faculty with Dr. Stephen R. Michael's practical business experience comes from holding two senior executive management positions Vice President of Sales and Marketing and Vice President of Business Development. Management Consulting in Strategy and Organizational Change

Michael worked as a Principal Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in New York City, N.Y. in the Strategic and Organizational Change Practice. While working for one of the world's top global consulting firms, he served as a change management and project management consultant on several multi- billion dollar Fortune 50 and U.S. Government projects. At PwC, he was responsible for designing and managing organizational effectiveness strategies, strategic planning, change management architecture, and change readiness plans to integrate talent management, business process improvement, culture change, and technology solutions. Michael utilized various strategic and change consulting methodologies and tools to help clients' reduce costs, improve competitive position and business results. At PwC, Michael served as an East Region Global Thought Leader on leadership development, executive team building, and executive coaching.

Academic Teaching and International Experience

Michael is an Adjunct Professor at Columbia College's School of Business Administration where he has taught classes in organizational behavior and leadership. He has also been a guest lecturer for BYU's Marriott School of Business teaching classes in organizational behavior, leadership, and coaching.

In 1995-96, Michael spent one-year as a visiting professor in Guangzhou, People's Republic of China teaching at South China University of Technology (SCUT) and Guangdong University of Technology (GUT). He taught classes in Business Management, Foreign Trade, and English. Of 160 foreign teachers, representing 40 universities, Michael was recognized as one of the top ten instructors by the Guangdong Higher Education Commission. While in China, Michael also worked as an External Consultant at Nike. He designed and developed a year-long Ôleadership program' for Chinese managers. This course was rated as the #1 management development program for hi-potential Chinese leaders.

Education

Mr. Simpson received an M.A. in Organizational Behavior from Columbia University as a Kappa Delta Pi Honors Society member. He also received his B.A. in International Studies from Brigham Young University as a member of the Sigma Iota Rho International Honors Society. Michael is a Certified Executive Coach from Columbia University's Executive Coaching Certification Program (CCCP). He received a graduate studies certificate Conflict Resolution and Mediation from Columbia's International Center for Cooperation and Conflict Resolution (ICCCR). Through the ICCCR, Michael was an intern at the United Nations where he conducted weekly conflict resolution and mediation sessions with professional and general services employees. In 1987, Michael studied abroad in London, England for two semesters through BYU's Kennedy Center for International Studies. Currently, Michael is on the Advisory Board for the Kennedy Center for International Studies.

Michael has been married for 16 years to his wife Cynthia and has four sons: Zachary, Luke, Jacob, and McKay. He enjoys snow skiing, mountain biking, scuba diving, and travel.
